Blog Hop

Oh how I wish I was there in Utah!!
Most of us do but because we can't make it let's have some of our own online fun.
Welcome to the

Those left behind Blog Hop!

If you just came here boy are lucky cause there are plenty of ladies in this blog hop. There will be challenges posted along the way with instructions on how to share and many will be offering blog candy too.

So without further ado!!your challenge on my blog will be as follows:

Create a card, layout or project of your choice celebrating either Canada Day or Independence Day.
For those outside either of these countries, do a project celebrating your own countries colours and your own special celebrations.50% product must be CC

TA!!DA!!

Here is mine,we haven't actually gone to the party yet but I anticipate a great photo to put on it.

I used a flower stamp as the fireworks image.I thought it looked kinda like one.

1.First I stamp the image with silver let that dry and stamped with versa mark. After I embossed with my Zing embossing powder,I realized the silver was gone so after the embossing dried,I re-inked with silver.

2. When that was dry I added a bit of bling.

3. I added a pocket to hold a few tags that I will journal on after the party(maybe).

4. Some lovely rubons that I received in a HC from CC came in handy too.

Products used:yours Truly cardstock
Christmas bling
Zing Embossing powder red and white
Silver ink pad
Stamp bought at dollar store.
Jenni Bowlin rubons

Post the link to your project whether that be on CC,Facebook or your own blog.If you have trouble with any of that send me an email (cgmcadams@hotmail.com) with your project and I will include it and post as soon as I can.

Deadline is Thursday July 5th at 9am MST .

I will be offering some blog candy also.

It's almost over!!

Well today is the big day.
Last graduating class from Zurich Public School. That's right.Last year our school board voted to close our school, move our 7/8's to  a new school within the high school and send our kids down the road to the next town for school.
We fought a really good battle but in the end they did what they wanted to do.Still totally p***ed but what can ya do when you have no control?

So with that said grad is tonight!! I was ahem.. lucky to be the one to head up the decorating committee this year and as you know it was Hollywood themed.I am heading in this morning to blow up balloons and grad starts at 6:30.I am sure there will be plenty of tears tonight.
I will post pictures tomorrow but for now I have some other great news.

I recently became a Design Team member on CropChocolate!!Yay.
I am so excited and can't wait to start sharing projects. When I figure out how to,I will add a little blinkie over there---->

Until we get the ok to post our DT projects,I thought I would share a few cards I've made in the last few weeks as thank yous to our teachers.

Hope you like them.

This one was for a challenge and so I used it as a birthday card for my SIL who turned 30.She is a dancer and after buying this paper I didn't really know what to do with it so this was perfect!

One of the many thank you cards...I have some more but those are for later..

Another challenge card on CC and also my sons graduation card.

The new design team is going to be doing a blog hop in July so keep your eyes posted for news about that.I think I'll be giving away some blog candy also.

Next week things will have calmed down a lot!No more school play,no more grad and no more ZACK,all that's left is the  town Fair that I run the childrens program for and the rest of the time,I'll be doing some much needed scrapping!!

Until next time.
