Challenges and stuff

Been a month now and boy has it been busy!
I have a bunch of projects finished some to show you and some you'll just have to wait!

Kathy over at Up in the night with Kat has a challenge this month along with her friend Raebae(Kitchen Table Scraps), to scraplift their layout that they...well they scraplifted.

I struggled with this one.I tried and discarded a couple times but finally just finished one to share with you and her.

Here are Kathy and Raebae's layouts

and here is mine.....

thanks for the challenge ladies....thank goodness it's over!

Cropchocolate hosts weekly challenges that if you participate in,end up with someone winning crop credit!
So if you haven't go check them out!

Challenge #25

After the AMAZING blog hop we just had from our new design team, we saw so much inspiration on cute Banner projects so let's put it to use!!
For this challenge, you must create something (LO, card, altered art, home decor - whatever!) that includes a banner as well as either a button or a bow. (Thanks Julie!)

I have been using banners everywhere now so I pulled this little tag together...

 Challenge #26

Old and New

A marriage of Old and New. If you're like me, you love using new goodies and elements, but also have a huge stockpile of old products and tools that you may or may not use. This challenge is about creating a successful marriage of old and new. Use one or more new element (washi tape, chevrons, hexagons, banner's, baker's twine, whathaveyou) and one or more old element (staples, buttons, punches, edging scissors, regular twine, whatever). Combine old and new to create something beautiful, fresh and current!

I needed some dividers for my papers and thought this would do double duty and meet both criteria.

So far they are holding up pretty well.

Challenge #27
Somewhere over the rainbow

From Brenna and Miwa:
Create a project that is rainbow-inspired with some bling. You do not have to include a rainbow itself, however.

I used paradise Beach and I love this paper line!
This is one of my favourite tags so far....

Challenge #28

From Nina and Jenni:
Create a project that "Celebrates Summer" with an added requirement of including water. Water can be added however they want - in a photo, a stamp, a wave border, rain, etc!!

I have the picture for this but need to have it printed off...Again Paradise Beach...

So the last project I have to show you is my last Focus Group project...

We were challenged to make our own subway art and I knew exactly what I was going to do...

with a little swearing and perserverance...vinyl and my slice just do NOT like each other...I finally got it finished.

So that's what I've been up to this month, along with a few other projects I will post later..maybe sooner if I remember.
See ya next time!
