Art Journal Blog Hop

Oh my goodness! I m so excited to be a part of this hop.
I still am not sure what an art journal is but I gave it my best effort!!
I hope you enjoy it!
You should have come from Julies blog
 http://muddypawsinkyfingers.blogspot.com

I started this page one day with no clear idea of what to do but I knew I wanted blue all over.

The next day I got the news my cousin had taken his own life.
I wasn't sure how to feel about this,he battled a drug addiction for most of his 45 years and burned a lot of bridges.

I  tried not to think I just grabbed some stuff and created.
I think this page sums up how I feel.
Sad  for such a loss.
Years of bitterness and desperation now all left to one feeling of sadness for a life lost.
A life wasted.

Two weeks later with the sun shining on my feet,I felt much happier.

I guess for some people an art journal is an expression of their talent.I think for me,it's going to be about the emotions I feel.
Whether that is sadness, confusion and despair or happiness, love and renewal.

I love Spring,it represents a chance to start over,to grow,to appreciate beauty once again after a long bleak winter.

Hope you have fun on your journey today.I am sure you will see some amazing projects on your way.

Your next stop is... Tameko Mays
